The protection of the privacy of our users is of utmost importance to us.

It applies to our Doctorama sites and also to our subsidiary sites (hereinafter referred to as "Site") on which a link to this privacy policy is inserted at the bottom of page. The websites of our partners may also include their own Privacy Policy that will be accessible from a link inserted at the bottom of the page of the said websites.

The terms "Users" or "you" used in this Privacy Policy includes both Participants who use the website to search for events and organizations that offer events via the Site.

We use your information solely within the provisions of this Privacy Policy. This page outlines our privacy policy but be vigilant when you follow a link to another website as it may not be subject to this Policy. Unless they are otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy, the words and expressions used in the present Policy shall have the same meaning as in the terms and conditions available on the Site.

By providing us information on registring, by making inquiries or by using any of the other facilities of the site, you expressly agree to this Privacy Policy.

Who processes your personal data ?

Your personal data, also known as information or data that identifies or can identify you, will be collected, processed, stored and used by the Site. It will also be transferred and processed by sites and / or affiliated companies as well as our partners within the provisions of the Data Protection Act of January 6, 1978. name, address, phone number, e-mail and if you are an Organizer, billing information and bank references. You can also send us personal data at other times, such as when you register on the Site. You will be told if the information requested is obligatory or optional.

Use of your personal data

The main purpose of personal data is to provide the services you request and those that will optimize your use of our website. You consent to our using your personal data for the following purposes :

- for services or assistance you require,
- to contact you promptly if there is a problem with a User or for update purposes
- to send other messages included in the service we provide on the Site,
- to customize, measure and improve our services, contents and advertising,
- to promote the services related to our site and those of our partners,
- to check the accuracy of the information and check with a third party
- to prevent activities that we think are potentially illegal, and
- for the purposes of this Privacy Policy and / or our terms and conditions or any other purpose specified in these documents.

Disclosure of your personal data

We may disclose your personal data to respond to lawful requests for information, in accordance with our regulations or to meet the claims of third parties regarding the violation of their rights in respect to advertisements or other content. - A third party implementing services on our behalf and who has agreed to keep your information confidential (eg secure processing of your payment card by the BNP-Paribas Mercanet system and the establishment of an online survey),

As a member of the site, you will receive newsletters which are part of the services we provide. From time to time, we, or our partner sites, may send information newsletters with the aim of improving the services we provide or offer. Users can at any time, choose to stop receiving these newsletters.


Surveys are another way for us to gather information about our users. We may ask users their opinions to evaluate new features and services to improve the Site. You are completely free to accept or not to respond to these surveys.


Participants may send inquiries to the Organizers or register for an event through links or tabs on the Site. If you use the Doctorama private messaging system, the Organizer will not know your email address, address or phone details. However, when you register for an event, through these links, you send data and personal information you give will be visible to the concerned organizers to enable them to achieve the monitoring of participants and if so to contact you directly. If you call an organizer, you may be asked to leave a phone number so that he can call you back. Do not share information you are not willing to provide during these conversations. This includes credit card or bank account details. The information you communicate is registered in our system and is only transferred to the member site that you personally selected. Within the limits of the Privacy Policy, third-party mail servers may occasionally be used as a control system for the sending and receiving of inquiry mails as well as for the analysis of the type of inquiry received.

How do we protect the personal data you have entrusted us with ?

We can therefore not guarantee that your personal information or your private communication will be maintained confidential at all times.

What is a Cookie or a Pixel Tag and why do we use them ?

A "cookie" is a small file placed on your hard drive when you use some of our web pages. We and our contractors, use cookies to help us analyze our web page flow, access content and advertising and customize our services.
